The new FrSky XSR receiver is one of the smallest and lightest receivers from FrSky yet, perfect for mini quads!
The XSR boasts all the features we have grown to love in a receiver including the all important telemetry features, S-BUS output for low latency responsiveness, and is lighter weight and physically smaller than the X4R-SB.
The FrSky XSR receivers telemetry feature is a full blown two way, full duplex transmission and provides data to your Taranis that can be displayed on screen or read out as audible voice alerts. Great for when you're wearing your goggles and can't read the screen on your radio.
Voltage, GPS, Airspeed, Current, RSSI and RPM/Temperature can all be setup to come through the live Telemetry feed. However for racing quads you'll most likely only use the voltage/current data.
The small form factor of the FrSky XSR receiver makes those smaller builds a dream. Unlike the X4R-SB, the XSR doesn't have bulky servo header pins installed.
The firmware of the XSR receiver is completely upgradeable if it is ever required, so you can be sure the option of keeping up to date with firmware improvements is an option.
